Prague Castle within easy reach
The building is situated on the border of two districts - Břevnov and Hradčany, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the Strahov Monastery, which is the gateway to the Prague Castle. The upper floors provide views on the Cathedral of St. Vitus. It is only one stop by city public transport to get to Pohořelec (western entrance to the Prague Castle) or three stops to get to the northern entrance Hradčanské Square.
Břevnov – town in town
The capital city Prague (so called Big Prague) was created through the merger with 37 adjacent villages, thereof 10 towns, on the basis of Act No.114/1920 on 1st January 1922. Until then Břevnov had been the independent city. This desctrict of Prague has retained its character and is distinguished by specific atmosphere until today.
Transport accessibility
In close proximity (about 300-350 m from Břevnovský Belvedere) on the street Bělohorská, there are stops Malovanka and Marjánka for tram lines No. 22 and No. 25 (and night line No. 57) connecting the area with metro stations (the nearest is Hradčanská on main line A), with the Prague Castle and with the city centre.
You can make comfortable and quickly way to the international Prague Ruzyně Airport by the tram No. 22, which goes to the Vypich stop and there you change to the bus No. 179, which brings you to the airport. The second option is to take the bus No. 143 which leads from the bus stop Malovanka (distance from Břevnovský Belvedere is about 400 meters) to the stop Dejvická (there is also the metro station Dejvická on main line A). At Dejvická, you get on the bus No. 119 and travel to the airport.
It is possible to park in front of the building on the street Za Strahovem or in near garage of the hotel Pyramida, where you can book a long term parking.
